Malaga has been chosen to host the Billie Jean King Cup Finals in November, following a relocation from Seville.

The women’s tournament, featuring 12 teams, is scheduled to take place from November 13 to 20 at the Palacio de Deportes Jose Maria Martin Carpena Arena, the same location that will host the men’s Davis Cup Finals.

This will mark the third consecutive year that the Davis Cup Finals will be held in Malaga, starting on November 19.

According to the International Tennis Federation (ITF), the relocation was made at the request of the Regional Government of Andalucia, which collaborates with the BJK Cup.

Great Britain, who secured their place in the Finals by defeating France in Le Portel in April, will face Germany in their first match on November 15.

Canada will be entering the tournament as the defending champions.

Fans have the option to exchange their tickets for the new venue or opt for a full refund.

Out of the competing teams, four will receive a bye into the quarter-finals, while the other eight will battle for the remaining four spots.
