The renowned singer made an unexpected appearance during the broadcast of the 2024 Paris Olympics opening ceremony on NBC Friday night, where she introduced various American athletes.
Dressed in a stunning red, white, and blue outfit, complete with a ‘USA’ leotard, a flowing cape, cowboy boots, and a cowboy hat, the “Crazy In Love” superstar captivated the audience.
‘Check out America, everybody,’ Beyoncé exclaimed, while her latest track Ya Ya from the album Cowboy Carter played in the background.
‘These dreams and aspirations, these superstars representing us. The citizens of this vast, vibrant, intricate nation. All coming together to support them. Come on, you’ve got to appreciate Noah [Lyles] and Sha’Carri [Richardson.] The fastest man and woman on the globe. They’re ready to race the world anytime, anywhere,’ she added.

‘And I’m sure you all know my girl Simone. Born to fly, destined to inspire. We have superstars and legends. Dreamers who have battled their way here. Who sacrificed everything for just one chance, and made it.’
Images of America’s top athletes flashed on the screen, interspersed with clips of the Grammy winner twirling in her red, white, and blue attire.
‘That pride and joy? That’s what resonates with me about this team. It’s what instills my belief in them. And I eagerly await what they will accomplish over the next 16 days.
