Manager Mikel Arteta is eager for Calafiori to join the squad quickly, as they embark on their pre-season tour across the Americas.

Journalist Fabrizio Romano posted the picture of the 22-year-old defender, who was accompanied by his agents, WSA chairman and founder Alessandro Lucci, and the agency’s CEO, Alessio Ceccarelli.

Calafiori could significantly strengthen Arteta’s defense by adding depth and versatility.

He played a vital role for Bologna in the past season, showcasing his skills as both a center-back and left-back.
