Richards finished seventh in the women’s cross-country mountain bike event in Tokyo, but soon after, she became the world champion and also won the Commonwealth Games in 2022. Though she is recovering from a concussion incurred three months ago, she will be competing in the race starting at 1:10 PM.

Simone Biles returns to the Olympic stage after her turbulent experience in Tokyo, where she dealt with the twisties and stepped back from many competitions. The 27-year-old athlete, who holds 27 world and Olympic titles, will participate in the women’s qualifying starting at 10:40 AM.
