Johnny Depp celebrated the memory of his late “Pirates of the Caribbean” colleague, Tamayo Perry.

Perry, known for his expertise in water sports and as a lifeguard in Honolulu, tragically lost his life in June due to a shark attack while surfing near Mālaekahana Beach on Oahu’s North Shore. He was 49 years old.

Beyond his reputation as a legendary surfer, Perry also had an acting career, featuring in “Blue Crush,” “Hawaii Five-0,” and “Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides.”

Depp posted a black-and-white image of Perry alongside his wife of 25 years, Emilia, both dressed in wetsuits and holding surfboards.
