Former President Trump has pledged to keep hosting outdoor rallies despite facing an assassination attempt, countering the Secret Service’s advice to shift to indoor events.

On Saturday, Trump shared a message on Truth Social declaring his intention to proceed with outdoor rallies, stating that the Secret Service has agreed to “significantly enhance their security measures.”

“They are fully capable of doing so,” he remarked. “We must never allow anyone to restrict or obstruct free speech or gatherings.”

This declaration came after the Secret Service recommended that the Trump campaign refrain from holding large outdoor events in certain contexts due to the recent assassination attempt.
