The Harris campaign is responding to critics of their fundraising strategies aimed at specific races and gender demographics, asserting that their approach aligns with standard campaign practice.
Following her rise to the top of the ticket, the Harris campaign has organized several fundraisers, including Zoom events titled “Win with Black Men,” “White Dudes for Harris,” and “Karens for Kamala,” intended to engage various demographics in the campaign.
However, the events have drawn backlash from critics on social media, with some claiming the campaign is reminiscent of “segregation.”

One user on X remarked, “The Kamala Harris campaign is bringing segregation back in style,” in response to the sequence of events.
“It’s all about race with you guys,” another critic commented regarding the gatherings.
The upcoming “White Dudes for Harris” event is slated for Monday and has faced the most backlash, with detractors labeling it “racist” and “cringy,” while some describe it as “condescending.”
“There’s nothing more ‘progressive’ than self-loathing White guys with low self-esteem, man buns, and a gender studies degree from SUNY Binghamton thinking they’ll make their first Black female friend and maybe score a date by signing up for something so condescending. This qualifies as ‘trying too hard’ and is so desperate that it’s likely to backfire,” remarked conservative radio host Jason Rantz to Fox News Digital.
Others have mocked potential attendees, suggesting that the event may appeal to men perceived as weak or overly sensitive.
“This will be the most Beta gathering in history,” one user claimed.

‘WHITE DUDES FOR HARRIS’ TO HOST CALL AFTER 160,000 WHITE WOMEN JOIN ‘KARENS FOR KAMALA’ ZOOM
Despite the criticism, the innovative Zoom fundraising campaign has shown some success, with nearly 100,000 Black men and women raising close to $2 million, and the “Karens for Kamala” event attracting over 160,000 participants.
The Harris campaign has continued to dismiss the critics, pointing out that former President Donald Trump has employed similar strategies.
“It’s a bit perplexing. Campaigns build coalition groups; for instance, ‘Latino Americans for Trump,'” stated Harris campaign spokesperson Kevin Munoz in an interview with Fox News Digital.
According to a report by the New York Post, Trump allies in Congress have been hosting events designed for the Black community, including get-out-the-vote functions labeled “Cigars, Cognac, and Congress” in predominantly Black neighborhoods.

Trump has also actively engaged Hispanic voters, recently rebranding outreach efforts by launching “Latino Americans for Trump” at a Las Vegas rally, moving away from the previous “Latinos for Trump” slogan to emphasize Latino identity as part of the American fabric.
“No matter your background—be it African American, Latino American, Asian American, or European American—we are all Americans,” stated Jaime Florez, the Hispanic communications director for the Republican National Committee and the Trump campaign, in a discussion with NBC News.
The Trump campaign has yet to respond to Fox News Digital’s request for commentary.
