Rangers are looking forward to returning to Ibrox for home games after the upcoming international break, although chairman John Bennett acknowledges that this return might “extend beyond” the end of September.

Due to delays in the renovation of the Copland Stand at Ibrox Stadium, the club has opted to host their August matches—Scottish Premiership, League Cup, and European fixtures—at Hampden Park.

The delays have been attributed to late arrivals of construction materials, with the first of three shipments anticipated in the first week of August.

As it currently stands, Rangers’ only planned home game in September is against Hibernian on 28 September.

“When I consider the timelines, it’s an aspiration at this point,” Bennett shared with club media.

“I have to add a caveat; there remains a level of uncertainty. We hope to have it ready by the end of September, but that remains an aspiration. I regret needing to include this caveat; it frustrates me greatly.

“Indeed, I can aspire to welcome our fans back for our home finale in September, but I must acknowledge that there is a possibility it could be delayed beyond that.”
