Just a day after Obi-Martin’s announcement, Fabrizio Romano stated via X (formerly Twitter) that he accepted United’s offer, despite having a better financial proposal from a German club.

Reports suggest that Obi-Martin was drawn to Manchester due to the exciting project underway at the club.

Obi-Martin began his journey with Arsenal after joining from Kjobenhavns Boldklub in Denmark.

He made his debut for Arsenal’s U18 team at the age of 15, scoring a hat-trick on his first appearance.

His most outstanding moment with Arsenal came in a U16 match last November, where he astonishingly scored 10 goals in a 14-3 victory over Liverpool.

Five months later, he scored seven goals in a 9-0 defeat of Norwich at the U18 level.
