MSNBC political commentator Molly Jong-Fast suggested that Sen. JD Vance’s recently revealed remarks about “childless” Democrats highlight a “racist” outlook on America.
On “Morning Joe” on Tuesday, Jong-Fast responded to Vance’s “politically damaging” comments following a Pew survey indicating a significant increase in U.S. adults choosing not to have children.
“It’s intriguing because this reflects a natalism stemming from an authoritarian mindset, right? The notion that there should be more ‘White children,’ that’s the concept,” Jong-Fast stated.
“This is connected to great replacement theory racism, right? This is what we’re discussing. So don’t misinterpret this as him wanting more children; he has a specific racist agenda,” she argued.
TRUMP: FAMILY-ORIENTED INDIVIDUALS WILL BACK JD VANCE

MSNBC analyst Molly Jong-Fast claimed JD Vance’s remarks regarding “childless” Democrats carried a “racist” implication.
Vance, who is married to U.S. lawyer Usha Vance, daughter of Indian immigrants, has three biracial children.
Jong-Fast’s remarks sparked considerable criticism on social media.
“White nepobaby appears on MSNBC and asserts that a veteran married to an Indian woman with mixed-race kids desires only White children in the nation. This absurdity fuels progressive thinking,” posted conservative radio personality Erick Erickson on X.
“Politics can change rapidly. While the Harris campaign isn’t accountable for Molly Jong-Fast’s outrageous comments, when someone in her circle claims a man with biracial children seeks solely White American offspring, that form of reverse racism is disappointing,” tweeted NY Post columnist and Commentary editor John Podhoretz.
The MSNBC analyst restricted her X account following the viral spread of her remarks on the platform.
MSNBC has not responded to Fox News Digital’s request for a comment.
TRUMP SENIOR CAMPAIGN ADVISOR CRITICIZES LEFT: TAKING VANCE’S ‘CAT LADY’ COMMENTS ‘CLEARLY OUT OF CONTEXT’

The Ohio senator and Trump’s running mate has faced backlash for derogatory statements regarding the Democratic Party made during a 2021 interview that has recently resurfaced.
In that interview, Vance stated, “Our country is virtually managed by the Democrats and a group of childless cat ladies who are unhappy with their own lives and decisions, and they want to impose that misery on the rest of the nation.”
Vance has defended his comments, claiming the left has misrepresented his words.
“When you examine the complete context of my statements, it is evident that Democrats have manipulated this to amplify the narrative, which is their common tactic when they lack a substantive agenda,” Vance told Fox News host Trey Gowdy.
“The pressing concerns for the American public do not revolve around my comments from three years ago; rather, it’s about issues like Kamala Harris’s oversight of the open southern border. It’s about the Democratic Party’s overtly anti-family policies,” he emphasized.
He further clarified that his remarks were not an attack on all childless adults but rather a critique of the “growing anti-parent and anti-child sentiment from the left.”
