NBA sophomore sensation Victor Wembanyama became an internet sensation as his extraordinary height was evident in a match against Japan during the Paris Olympics.

At just 20 years old, he measures an impressive 7-foot-3, making him nearly unguardable in both the NBA and on the international stage.

On Tuesday, the French player faced Japan in their second group match. Throughout the game, the notable height disparity between the San Antonio Spurs’ star and his opponents was astonishing.

One image captures Wembanyama setting a screen for Japan’s Yuki Kawamura, who stands at 5-foot-8. In the shot, Kawamura’s head is seen several inches below Wembanyama’s shoulder at the moment of contact.

Another photo depicts Wembanyama at the handshake line with 5-foot-6 Yuki Togashi, whose head appears just above the center’s elbow.
