In response to feedback from fans regarding Swansea’s efforts during the January transfer window, chairman Andy Coleman mentioned to BBC Sport in February that “essential components were lacking in the scouting and data aspects” of the club’s transfer process last summer.
“Now I believe we are starting to put those elements in place; with each transfer window, we will be able to leverage those tools and seize opportunities sooner,” he remarked at the time.
“We have already begun preparations for the summer, whether that involves pre-contract agreements or identifying targets. We are now in a much stronger position to act quickly, which I think is ultimately what we all aspire to achieve.”
During Swansea’s open training session, Allen, Ronald, and Ginnelly engaged in cycling exercises on the sidelines, along with Kuharevich, Naughton, and young winger Aimar Govea.
Teenager Sam Parker, who, like Govea, made his senior debut last season, was absent from the session, as was former MK Dons player Fisher.
