Olivia Dunne had an exceptional view as Simone Biles and Team USA clinched Olympic gold in Paris on Tuesday.
With her gold medal in the team finals, Biles becomes the most decorated Olympic gymnast in U.S. history. Dunne, an LSU gymnast and popular TikTok star, ensured she was present to witness this historic moment.
The 21-year-old posted a TikTok video from her vantage point, exuberantly captioned: ‘GO USA RAHHH’.
In response to a fan’s comment calling for her to compete in the Olympics, Dunne playfully replied, ‘LA 2028 baby’.
Dunne was a part of LSU’s NCAA championship-winning gymnastics team last year, marking their first-ever national title.

An ecstatic Olivia Dunne attended the event in Paris to witness Simone Biles’ remarkable performance.

Biles achieved the status of being the most decorated gymnast in U.S. Olympic history in France on Tuesday.
Earlier that day, Dunne shared a photo on Instagram enjoying the French sunshine.
Dunne’s comments on TikTok reflect a shift in her perspective, as she previously expressed her disinterest in competing in the Olympics.
‘I don’t think I’m going to pursue the Olympics or anything after, since I once competed for Team USA and I closed that chapter and moved to LSU,’ she shared with the New York Post.
However, witnessing Biles’ inspiring performance may have sparked a change in Dunne’s outlook, especially since she will be 25 at the time of the next Games in Los Angeles in 2028.
Biles, at 27, remarked after her victory that she overcame the challenges from the Tokyo Games, where she faced the well-known ‘twisties’.
Biles stated: ‘We’re super excited. We’re honored to represent the U.S. every time we step onto a world stage. Achieving that gold and reaching that goal was simply an amazing feeling.’
‘I believe we all had something to prove following the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games, and tonight we accomplished just that.
‘It holds immense significance for us. This was our objective from the outset, even though we didn’t share it with everyone because it was a personal ambition we were working towards.
‘But I think for everyone involved, this is what we came here to achieve. We’re thrilled to walk away with that gold medal.’
