Simone Biles cautiously disclosed the USA gymnastics team’s nickname following their triumphant performance in the group competition on Tuesday morning.

At 27, Biles led a talented team including Jordan Chiles, Suni Lee, Jade Carey, and Hezly Rivera to victory over rivals Italy and Brazil in Paris.

In an interview with former Olympic gymnast Aly Raisman, Biles was prompted to share the ‘team name’ after achieving a historic gold medal that solidified her status as the most decorated American gymnast in Olympic history.

As she hesitated to share, her teammates quickly intervened, urging her not to disclose it before she said, ‘I’m not going to say it.’

Eventually, after a suggestion to abbreviate the name, Biles took a moment to figure it out, revealing the nickname.

‘F.A.A.F.O.,’ Biles finally disclosed, only for a teammate to inadvertently reveal it stood for ‘F*** around and find out,’ which elicited laughter from the gathered press.

Later, Biles took to social media to clarify that their official team name was actually more wholesome.

‘Okay, on the real though, the official team name is golden girls (because oldest Olympic team),’ she posted on X.

Hours later, during ongoing celebrations, Biles made a pointed comment toward former teammate MyKayla Skinner on Instagram after Skinner criticized the current 2024 squad’s work ethic in a deleted YouTube video.

‘Besides me, I feel like the talent and depth just isn’t like it used to be,’ the 27-year-old stated. ‘The girls just don’t have the work ethic.’

After blocking Skinner on social media, Biles responded sharply to her former teammate following their victory in Paris.

‘Lack of talent, lazy, Olympic champions,’ Biles captioned her post, adding a range of emojis including a heart, gold medal, and the American flag.

The U.S. team clinched gold with a score of 171.296, finishing ahead of Italy and Brazil, who earned silver and bronze respectively.
