On Thursday, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu issued a strong warning that any aggressors against the Jewish State will face a “very high price,” following confirmations that Israel successfully eliminated key commanders from Hezbollah and Hamas during recent operations.
Netanyahu conducted a thorough evaluation at the Home Front Command of the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) alongside generals and senior leaders, in light of the confirmed deaths of Hezbollah commander Fuad Shukr and Hamas commander Muhammad Deif.
“Israel is maintaining a state of utmost readiness for any possible scenario—both in defense and offense,” Netanyahu affirmed. “We will impose a very steep cost for any act of aggression against us from any source whatsoever.”
Fuad Shukr, also recognized as Hajj Mohsin, played a significant role in a drone strike that tragically claimed the lives of 12 children and teenagers at a soccer field in the Golan Heights over the weekend. At the time of his demise in an IDF strike in southern Beirut on Tuesday, he served as a senior advisor to Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah.

As reported by the IDF, Deif was a key architect of the horrific Hamas terror attacks against Israel on October 7, collaborating with Yahya Sinwar, the top Hamas leader in Gaza. These terrorists were responsible for the deaths of 1,200 individuals in southern Israel and the kidnapping of 251 hostages taken to Gaza. Sinwar is believed to still be in hiding in Gaza.
