College football camps are underway nationwide, and the Nebraska Cornhuskers have been sharing images of players arriving to kick off their training.
Among the attendees is Dylan Raiola, the top-ranked quarterback from the Class of 2024, who is anticipated to step in as the starting quarterback during his true freshman season for the Cornhuskers.
Raiola has a promising future projected in the NFL, and after witnessing his arrival at camp, he appears to already embody the essence of a rising star in the league.

Sporting curly hair, a neatly trimmed goatee, and large sunglasses, Raiola strikingly reminded many of Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes.
Tyreek Hill, a star wide receiver for the Miami Dolphins and former player for Mahomes in Kansas City, was astounded upon viewing a photo of Raiola rolling his luggage onto campus.
“Boy ain’t no way,” Hill posted on X, accompanied by a laughing emoji and a mention of Mahomes.

In response, Mahomes humorously stated, “That’s my lil cuzzo.”
Interestingly, the resemblance between Raiola and Mahomes extends beyond mere looks.
During Nebraska’s spring game, Raiola donned No. 15, the same number worn by Mahomes with the Chiefs. Observing his gameplay, one can also notice similarities in their styles.
Raiola is stepping into Matt Rhule’s Big Ten program with high hopes for a team that managed a 5-7 record overall and 3-6 in conference last year.

A five-star recruit hailing from Buford High School, this 6-foot-3, 220-pound quarterback received offers from numerous prestigious programs, including the Georgia Bulldogs, Alabama, Colorado, Michigan, Notre Dame, and Ohio State.
Ultimately, Raiola chose Nebraska, stating that the program always felt like home to him.
“With Nebraska, I’ve always believed it was in my blood, it was in my heart for a long time,” Raiola stated, according to Rivals.com. “I felt that I could be part of something special, greater than myself. Lincoln, Nebraska, is an incredible place, and the University of Nebraska is a unique environment for college life and sports, supported by some of the most dedicated fans.”
The rapport between Rhule and the Raiola family significantly influenced the quarterback’s decision to commit.
“What sets Coach Rhule apart is how he genuinely connects with his players,” Raiola remarked.
