Sky Brown, the youngest Olympic medallist from Team GB, may still participate in the Paris Games despite reports of a shoulder dislocation she sustained during training on Sunday.

As reported by the BBC, the incident occurred the day before the 16-year-old was scheduled to travel to the French capital, leaving her with a complete dislocation.

The British Olympic Association stated that it could not comment at this time, but Brown shared a link to the BBC article on her Instagram stories, showcasing her preparation efforts.

The park competition is set to kick off on Tuesday morning with the preliminary round, followed by the final in the afternoon.

At just 13 years and 28 days, Brown secured Olympic bronze in the women’s park skateboarding event at the Tokyo Games three years ago, becoming the youngest British summer Games medallist, surpassing Sarah Hardcastle.

Brown is part of a three-member Team GB that includes another teenager, Lola Tambling, and 50-year-old Andy Macdonald.

Recently, Brown has faced a series of injuries, including an MCL tear in her knee, and she narrowly missed qualifying for surfing ahead of these Games.
