Fox News host Jesse Watters explores Vice President Kamala Harris’ extensive political career and shares his perspective on why he views her as lacking true leadership qualities.
JESSE WATTERS: For nearly ten days, the media elevated Kamala to heroic status, dubbing her the ‘Pantsuit Messiah.’ This media frenzy served as a distraction from a critical election storyline: Trump escaping an assassination attempt. However, the narrative shifted yesterday, refocusing attention on Donald Trump. No one understands the art of narrative manipulation better than him; he stirred up some controversy by responding to the Black Journalists Convention. Last night, we were uncertain how the situation would evolve, but it appears clarity is emerging. The media’s coverage of Trump’s remarks today was minimal. If those comments were truly damaging to his campaign, they would be aired on repeat. If it was as stirring as anticipated, why didn’t Kamala seize the opportunity? She issued a mundane written response last night and didn’t pursue the topic further. No advertisements have been produced. Her representatives are not extensively addressing it. Isn’t it peculiar for a Democrat to shy away from discussions on race, opting to portray Trump as a racist? I’m curious about Kamala’s reluctance. Is it connected to ‘White Dudes for Harris’? And why hasn’t she addressed the serious affront to DEI? Perhaps the Black community views Kamala in a light we don’t fully comprehend. I’m uncertain; maybe the issue surrounding her racial identity isn’t as significant as we think. That’s a positive aspect, as this debate shouldn’t revolve around race.
WHO IS THE REAL KAMALA HARRIS? AMERICA HAS SO MANY QUESTIONS AND JOURNALISTS AREN’T ASKING THEM
…
This is precisely how Trump, whether intentionally or not, redirected the conversation. The focus has reverted to what Trump must do to secure victory. His reference to Kamala’s mixed heritage highlights her tendency to strategically use either aspect of her background for political gain, revealing her true nature. Kamala Harris comes across as inauthentic. It’s perfectly fine for individuals with mixed backgrounds to identify differently in various contexts; it’s a human trait. However, in politics, authenticity is paramount, and Kamala, as a long-serving politician, tends to shift her stance based on convenience, changing her approach as needed. People recognize individuals like Kamala Harris; she’s cordial to your face yet disparaging behind your back. She labels you racist and then aligns with you electorally. In contrast, Trump is direct—he communicates openly, regardless of your identity. That’s genuine.
