West Ham have acquired Dutch forward Crysencio Summerville from Leeds for a fee exceeding £25m, along with potential add-ons.
The 22-year-old has signed a five-year contract at the London Stadium, which includes an option for an additional year.
Summerville made 89 appearances and netted 25 goals in all competitions for Leeds after transferring from Feyenoord for £1.3m in 2020.
West Ham is also on the verge of completing a £27m transfer for German striker Niclas Fullkrug from Borussia Dortmund.
The Hammers have been linked to a number of players this summer as technical director Tim Steidten seeks to enhance Julen Lopetegui’s roster.
Nonetheless, Summerville – who was last season’s Championship Player of the Year – has become one of their key targets.
West Ham has also signed Wolves captain Max Kilman for £40m, secured goalkeeper Wes Foderingham from Sheffield United, and acquired Brazilian winger Luis Guilherme for £25.5m from Palmeiras.
Additionally, the London club is keen to add full-back Aaron Wan-Bissaka from Manchester United.
