Snoop Dogg showed up prepared for action at Saturday’s dressage team Grand Prix Special, fully equipped to ride if the opportunity arose.
Joined by Martha Stewart – a prominent figure in American lifestyle writing and television – Snoop was donned in breeches, a dressage tailcoat, and a hard hat while touring the Chateau de Versailles venue.
‘Snoop The Stallion,’ one fan remarked on X, while another noted, ‘Snoop Stallion is really getting on his high horse.’
The rapper previously provided commentary on dressage during the Tokyo 2020 Olympics, calling German rider Isabell Werth’s horse a ‘crip-walking horse.’
Snoop Dogg enjoyed an impressive performance from British rider Becky Moody, who achieved a top score in the first round with her horse, Jagerbomb.

He is working for the American channel NBC during the Games and has had a packed schedule in Paris, having carried the Olympic flame for part of the final relay before attending numerous events, including gymnastics.
Snoop Dogg, whose full name is Calvin Cordozar Broadus Jr., reflected on his experience as a torchbearer: ‘Something I’m gonna be able to live with and be happy with is to know that I was the face and the voice of peace for that one moment in time.’
Snoop Dogg’s presence certainly generated excitement at the venue, with Moody’s teammate Carl Hester mentioning that news of his arrival caused quite a stir in the stables.
He stated: ‘I didn’t get to meet him, but of course the talk of the stables was that he was here, and everyone was looking for him on the camera.’
‘It’s great he’s enjoying dressage, and he was here.’
However, despite his enthusiasm for horses, Snoop Dogg has never actually ridden one.
‘I’m still scared of horses,’ the 52-year-old confessed to Today.com.

‘I find it mesmerizing, and I watch it on TV when it’s on. It’s just something I can’t get enough of.’
