Freddie Freeman’s three-year-old son Max is home after spending eight days in the hospital fighting a rare neurological condition, a miraculous recovery.

The LA Dodgers superstar and his wife Chelsea shared this remarkable news on social media on Sunday.

‘After a challenging 8 days in the Pediatric ICU, we are finally HOME!,’ Chelsea announced on Instagram.

‘Max still faces a long path ahead to regain his strength and relearn to walk, but we are immensely grateful to have our family reunited.’

‘Thank you, God, for this miracle. We are also deeply thankful to our extraordinary team of doctors and angelic nurses who cared for our son so well.’
