Over the weekend, I shared the stage with President Trump in Atlanta, a city where Democrats have invested substantial resources spreading misinformation. Unlike the race-baiting and victim mentality often propagated by the Left, President Trump conveyed honest messages about his ongoing commitment to uplifting the Black community.
For decades, Atlanta has served as a hub of opportunity for Black Americans in the South. With flourishing industries and strong educational leadership, our city has become a beacon for Black Americans achieving career success. Yet, why do so many still face challenges? Why is homeownership an elusive dream for many Black individuals? And why do 41% of Black Americans believe their financial situation has worsened in the last five years?
The difficult truth is that Democratic leaders have deceived Black voters for electoral gain. The current administration’s harmful economic policies are negatively affecting Black families while funds are directed overseas, and millions are allocated to the IRS. To maintain their previous standard of living, Americans now require an additional $11,400 due to rising costs.
KAMALA HARRIS BRACES FOR A PIVOTAL WEEK IN 2024 ELECTIONS AGAINST DONALD TRUMP
For too long, Democrats have promoted a narrative portraying Republicans as the party of racism and as the architects of a system oppressive to Black families. However, 45% of Black Americans recognize that the economic policies under the Biden-Harris administration are hindering their pursuit of the American Dream, including goals such as starting a business or owning a home.
Putting America First entails making the American Dream attainable for every American, which begins with keeping prices manageable, wages elevated, and curbing inflation.
In 2020, President Trump introduced the Platinum Plan aimed specifically at empowering the Black community by mobilizing nearly $500 billion, establishing 500,000 new Black-owned businesses, and enabling Black churches to advocate for federal resources for their neighborhoods.
During his presidency, Donald Trump secured essential funding for Clark Atlanta University and invested billions into HBCUs nationwide. While Kamala Harris may tout her affiliation with Alpha Kappa Alpha, there is a stark difference between simply attending an HBCU and championing their causes. Every HBCU student—past, present, and future—owes a debt of gratitude to President Trump.
BLACK VOTERS IN PENNSYLVANIA SAY KAMALA HARRIS DOESN’T REPRESENT THEM IN A VIRAL CNN CLIP: ‘NOT TO ME’
The Left attempts to portray Vice President Kamala Harris as a champion for the Black community, yet her track record as a prosecutor and legislator paints a contrasting picture. Her acknowledgment of her Black heritage seems to surface primarily when appealing for the Black vote, but the anticipated benefits of her purported commitment to Black families remain unfulfilled.
Democrats have put us in a bind. Rent reaches unattainable heights in American cities. Food prices surge. Under Kamala Harris’ oversight, the average American household in Georgia incurs a monthly loss of $1,060, with inflation nearing 21.4%. It is crucial for Black Americans, particularly mothers, to recognize the detrimental impact of the Biden-Harris administration’s policies on our communities.
For families to flourish, stability is essential; an additional four years of policies that prioritize everything but American wellbeing will exacerbate the economic difficulties faced in our neighborhoods today. We must restore economic security and accessibility for families, allowing every Black family the opportunity to thrive.

To me, true freedom is not aligning with a party that perpetuates falsehoods. It is the ability to provide for your family without requiring a second job. Freedom encompasses the choice of your child’s education. It means empowering Black working mothers with meaningful solutions regarding childcare, education, and family-friendly workplaces.
Black mothers are the pillars of our community. We observe the soaring prices at the grocery store and the gas station, recognize the exorbitant costs of childcare, note the decline in educational standards for our children, and witness the violence that has affected the safety of our neighborhoods. Our community requires us to take decisive action and vote for a brighter future.

The Left will urge you to focus on social issues, falsely branding it the “New Jim Crow,” and engaging in foreign conflicts that are irrelevant to American households. The reality is that halting and reversing the harm caused by “America Last” economics is the only path to restore our communities and our nation.
Black Americans deserve an economic landscape conducive to our success. There is only one candidate at the top of the ticket this year who can deliver that promise.
