Viral influencer Zach Sage Fox has publicly challenged Jewish liberal comedian Jon Stewart regarding his remarks in a recent social media video.
Fox, who shares Stewart’s Jewish heritage, criticized the comedian for his comments on “The Daily Show” last week about a clip featuring former President Trump asserting that Vice President Harris “didn’t like Jewish people.” In response, Stewart said, “Join the club, we are getting crushed out there. Right now, I’m not even sure how much we like ourselves.”
“Jon, it brings me no joy to confront you,” Fox stated in his video directed at Stewart. “As a chubby little Jewish kid who aspired to enter the realm of political comedy, you were one of my greatest inspirations. This was not just because of your remarkable humor, but because you were one of us. There are so few Jews who make it big in this world, creating a sense of inspiration when one does.”
“And you embraced your Jewish identity. Much of the comedy that made you famous was rooted in Jewish humor and identity,” he added. “But after October 7, and your silence in response to the most significant massacre of Jews since the Holocaust, I began to question whether my admiration for you as a child was misplaced. However, I held back from judging you too harshly, knowing that many of my Jewish heroes also remained silent.”
INFLUENCER WARNS GEN Z IS BECOMING ‘GEN TERRORISM’ AS TIKTOK TAKES ‘OMINOUS TURN’ AFTER OCT 7
Fox expressed dissatisfaction with Stewart’s commentary on the Israel-Hamas War in the months following the October 7 terrorist attacks by Hamas and the resultant protests against Israel.
“Then, for months back on ‘The Daily Show,’ you targeted Israel without a word against Hamas,” Fox commented. “That genocidal terrorist organization would harm you without hesitation, regardless of your views on Judaism. Now, you seem to be pitting your community against itself using your influential platform while we are still in mourning, with many of our people held hostage.”
“Not only is this wrong, but you’re sharing false narratives that contradict the truth,” he continued. “Jews do not hate one another right now. We are more united than I’ve ever seen in my life. This unity has inspired me to advocate for our often-persecuted community. But I doubt you intended to deceive, which suggests you are disconnected from any Jewish community.”
VIRAL INFLUENCER ZACH SAGE FOX PUT SPOTLIGHT ON CLUELESS ANTI-ISRAEL PROTESTERS: ‘NO ONE KNEW ANYTHING’
Fox, who boasts over a million followers on TikTok and 100,000 on Instagram, is an alumnus of the Ivy League University of Pennsylvania, co-founded the successful media company Fat Camp Films, and has produced content for prominent platforms like Disney Channel, Hulu, and HBO. Since October 7, he has been particularly vocal about his support for Zionism.
“While we may not see eye to eye on everything—because, after all, we’re Jews—we certainly don’t harbor hatred toward one another; on the contrary, we are united. We’re all doing our best during this difficult time. The last thing we need is someone falsely claiming to advocate for us, who evidently despises his roots, which explains why you changed your last name. That may also clarify why Zionists like me, a proud Jew who unsuccessfully auditioned for the ‘Daily Show,’ were never considered.”
“Fortunately, my journey has been positive, because when my people needed me, I was there, and I hope you could have been too,” he remarked. “If you had felt even a fraction of the goodness I have discovered over the past nine months, I don’t think you would have such animosity in your heart.”

Fox expressed that he still admires Stewart and urged him to reconnect with his Jewish heritage.
“I hope that one day we can meet,” he expressed. “I continue to look up to you in many ways and want to share with you the Jewish joy that you seem to be missing. It’s something unique. The essence of the Jewish soul is profound and stronger than ever.”
“And to the quirky Jewish kids watching this who aspire to break into comedy, you don’t need to search for prominent Jewish figures of the past,” he remarked. “There are myself and a whole new wave of Jewish stars who have emerged since October 7, ready to inspire you, advocate for what’s right, and love you unconditionally from a distance.”
“We’ll find laughter amidst despair and joy in sadness, because that’s what Jews have done throughout history,” he concluded. “That is what gives Jewish humor its richness, significance, and dark humor. So the punchline’s on you, Jon Leibowitz—sorry, Jon Stewart, I didn’t mean to offend. I know the last thing you wish to be referred to is as a Jew.”
INFLUENCER WENT TO THE WEST BANK TO SEE IF PALESTINIANS SUPPORT HAMAS – HE ALMOST DIDN’T MAKE IT OUT ALIVE
Fox has been a vocal advocate for Israel, producing videos that have reached millions online.
In May, he gained attention for a viral video where he posed questions to anti-Israel protesters about the Israel-Hamas War, offering $100 to anyone who could answer basic queries correctly. Unfortunately for them, none could.
“I don’t think we gave out a single hundred-dollar bill during that time. I mean, nobody knew anything,” Fox shared with Fox News Digital.
Last month, Fox traveled to the West Bank to investigate whether Palestinian individuals genuinely support Hamas. He faced threats from a Palestinian faction that was upset he was asking questions to a woman, believing females shouldn’t represent all Palestinians.
