During his presidency, Biden has mistakenly referred to Vice President Harris as “president” on multiple occasions, according to a recent analysis by Fox News Digital.

Harris, who was seen as a leading contender for the Democratic nomination following Biden’s withdrawal from the 2024 race, recently confused her title while eulogizing late Rep. Sheila Jackson Lee, D-Texas, saying, “It was Sheila Jackson Lee whose bill made Juneteenth a federal holiday. Which, as a United States senator, I was proud to co-sponsor. And then as president – as vice president … correcting herself almost immediately with “with the president, with the president.”

Prior to stepping back from the race, Biden made similar verbal slips several times over the years.

In March 2021, Biden accidentally called his vice president “president” while discussing the COVID-19 vaccine.

“Now, when President Harris and I took a virtual tour of a vaccination center in Arizona not long ago, one of the nurses on that, on that tour injecting people, giving vaccinations, said that each shot was like administering a dose of hope,” Biden stated.

Additionally, during a speech at South Carolina State University later in 2021, he mentioned, “President Harris is a proud Howard alum.”

Biden committed another verbal blunder in Georgia.

“Last week, President Harris and I stood in the United States Capitol to observe one of those before-and-after moments in American history: the January 6 insurrection on the citadel of our democracy,” he stated in January 2022.

Later, in October 2022, Biden remarked “happy birthday to a great president” to Harris during a White House event.

He used the same terminology again while discussing immigration issues.

“President Harris led this effort — led this effort to make things better in the countries from which they are leaving,” Biden stated at a White House event in March 2023.

Harris is anticipated to be officially nominated as the Democratic candidate at the party’s upcoming national convention in August.

Attempts to obtain a comment from the White House were unsuccessful by the time of publication.
