With Israel preparing for a potential assault from Iran, the Israel Defense Forces announced on Tuesday that they executed an airstrike in southern Lebanon, which reportedly resulted in the deaths of four Hezbollah operatives.
The airstrike targeted a building utilized by Hezbollah in the Nabatieh region, as stated by the IDF, using fighter jets from the Southern Front.
A second Hezbollah facility was also hit in Khiam, according to the IDF.
While the IDF did not immediately report any casualties, Lebanese security sources informed AFP that four Hezbollah members were killed in the attack, as per the Times of Israel.

At the same time, Israel is under continuous attack while gearing up for a possible larger conflict.
Fox News Foreign Correspondent Trey Yingst reported that Hezbollah conducted a rocket and drone assault on northern Israel on Monday, with first responders indicating that two individuals were injured by shrapnel, one of whom is in critical condition.
For the past 10 months, Israel and the Iranian-supported Hezbollah have engaged in near-daily strikes. The conflict escalated after Iranian proxy Hamas launched a horrific attack on Israel on October 7, resulting in the deaths of 1,200 individuals, including over 30 Americans.
Concerns among world leaders have heightened in recent weeks as they fear that the conflict may expand into a broader regional war.

Israel confirmed the killing of notable Hezbollah commander Fuad Shukr and Hamas commander Muhammad Deif in recent operations last week.
The assassination of Hamas political chief Ismail Haniyeh in Tehran last week further escalated tensions in the volatile Middle East. Although Israel has not publicly claimed responsibility for the act, both Iran and Hamas are accusing the Jewish state of orchestrating it.
