The University of Michigan is expected to receive an official notice of allegations (NOA) related to the purported sign-stealing scheme that occurred last season.
Former head coach Jim Harbaugh, currently with the Los Angeles Chargers, is reportedly among four individuals charged with Level 1 violations, which are the most serious in nature.
During his nine-season tenure with the Wolverines, Harbaugh has consistently denied any misconduct.

“I was taught to never lie, cheat, or steal. I’ve instilled this lesson in my family and conveyed it to every team I’ve coached,” Harbaugh asserted on Monday. “Though no one is perfect, if mistakes occur, one must apologize and rectify the situation. Today, I do not apologize; I had no part, was unaware, and did not collude in the alleged actions. It’s time to return to work with unrelenting enthusiasm.”
The NCAA claims Harbaugh failed to cooperate with an investigation into the university as he rejected a request to examine his cellphone records.
Current head coach Sherrone Moore could face suspension as he is alleged to have deleted text messages with Connor Stalions, the supposed mastermind behind the scheme. The NOA indicates that Moore is facing a Level 2 violation charge.

Sherrone Moore, now 38, ascended from offensive coordinator to head coach following Harbaugh’s departure to Los Angeles, having led the Wolverines to their first national title since 1997.
Moore acted as head coach four times during Harbaugh’s suspensions last season, achieving victories in each game, most notably the season-ender against Ohio State.
Stalions resigned in November, shortly after the investigation commenced, having initially been suspended with pay by the university. He served as an off-field analyst for the football program, with claims stating he attended over 30 games across 11 different Big Ten schools in the last three seasons while even disguising himself at a Central Michigan-Michigan State match.
