Biles and Jordan Chiles earned silver and bronze medals, respectively, and showed their admiration for Andrade by bowing to her on the podium, exemplifying the essence of the Olympic spirit.

Baltimore Ravens cornerback Marlon Humphrey expressed his discontent with the display, calling it “literally disgusting.” However, Andrade’s journey, which included recovery from three ACL surgeries, highlights her dedication to achieving gold in a sport that Biles has excelled in for almost a decade.
“It’s all about sportsmanship, and we don’t care whether we win or lose. We’ll always put on a good face and support our fellow competitors because they have worked just as hard as we have for that moment,” Biles shared during an interview on NBC’s “Today” on Tuesday.

“You have to acknowledge their achievement, and that’s precisely what Jordan and I were doing. We were genuinely excited for her. She earned that recognition. Her floor routine was the best of the day and at the Olympics, so she absolutely deserved it.”
Humphrey’s opinion faced backlash on social media.
“I think I’m being roasted right now. I believe I’m being cursed at in Portuguese on Instagram lol,” he remarked on X later Monday.
