Simone Biles has expressed her desire to have children with her NFL husband, Jonathan Owens, as she shares her plans for the future following the Paris Olympics.
The accomplished gymnast, who secured three gold medals and a silver for Team USA, has established herself as one of the greatest Olympians in history.
Although the 27-year-old previously found discussions about her future uncomfortable, she has now opened up regarding what lies ahead after her Olympic journey.
“Yes, Jonathan and I often discuss having kids. He would have had them yesterday if he could have. But yes, we are definitely considering starting a family,” she shared during her appearance on the TODAY show.
Owens paused his training camp with the Chicago Bears to support Biles during the Olympics but returned to the U.S. on Monday as her Olympic events concluded.

“He was incredibly thrilled,” Biles remarked about the joy her husband felt cheering her on in France. “He loved watching me compete and was still keeping score.”
“It really meant a lot to him—he understands how many hours I dedicate to training, and he was just overjoyed to be there.”
The next Olympic Games are scheduled for Los Angeles in 2028, and Biles has not ruled out the possibility of competing in her home country.
“Never say never,” Biles said on Saturday. “The next Olympics will be at home, so there’s always a chance. But I’m also getting older.”
She reiterated this sentiment during her Tuesday appearance, stating, “You never really know. The next Olympics is on home turf, so we’ll just see where life takes me.”

Previously, Biles expressed her frustration over being queried about her future immediately after winning an Olympic medal on her X account over the weekend.
She wrote: “You all need to stop asking athletes what’s next after we win a medal at the Olympics. Let us savor the moment we’ve dedicated our entire lives to.”
Biles’ Olympic participation concluded with a slight disappointment on Monday, as she fell off the beam and did not secure a medal, finishing behind Brazil’s Rebeca Andrade in the floor event.
