Chelsea’s pre-season journey in the U.S. concluded with a 2-1 loss against Real Madrid in Charlotte, North Carolina.

With goals from Brahim Diaz and Lucas Vazquez, the Champions League victors took control early on. Noni Madueke managed to score just before half-time to bring Chelsea closer but ultimately, Enzo Maresca’s team was unable to secure a draw.
