In 2025, Connor Zilisch will compete full-time in the NASCAR Xfinity Series, driving the No. 88 Chevrolet for JR Motorsports.
The 18-year-old driver, part of Trackhouse Racing’s development program, made a significant impact in 2024 with impressive accomplishments, including LMP2 wins at the Rolex 24 in Daytona and the Twelve Hours of Sebring.

Zilisch then secured four victories in the ARCA Series at Dover (Del.) Speedway in April, Flat Rock (Mich.) Speedway in May, Iowa Speedway in June, and Indianapolis Raceway Park in July, along with a win in a CARS Tour race at Hickory (N.C.) Motor Speedway in April.
In his debut with the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series at the Circuit of the Americas in Austin, Texas, Zilisch set a new track record, winning the pole by seven tenths of a second and finishing fourth after starting from the back.

“This is an incredible milestone for me and everyone who has supported me on my journey,” said Zilisch, who became eligible to compete in the Xfinity Series when he turned 18 on July 22.
“Thanks to the tremendous backing from Chevrolet and the opportunity to race in trucks and ARCA with Silver Hare Racing, I secured a contract with Trackhouse Racing, which worked diligently to provide this remarkable chance. I am truly thankful and eager to prove my worth.”

He is joining JR Motorsports, a team renowned for developing NASCAR talents such as William Byron, Chase Elliott, Brad Keselowski, and Tyler Reddick.
“Connor is an extraordinarily talented young driver,” stated Earnhardt Jr. “We are thrilled for him to compete full-time next season, as he is on a path toward great success, supported by Chevrolet, Trackhouse Racing, and now JR Motorsports.”
Zilisch will be behind the wheel of the No. 88 for JR Motorsports starting off with a four-race deal this season. His races will begin at Watkins Glen International (September 14) and will also include events at Kansas Speedway (September 28), Homestead-Miami Speedway (October 26), and Phoenix Raceway (November 9).
Trackhouse founder and owner Justin Marks expressed enthusiasm about pairing Zilisch with JR Motorsports.
