To commemorate the anniversary of her death, The National Wax Museum Plus in Dublin unveiled a wax figure of the singer, which unfortunately received criticism.

The Irish Times reported that O’Connor’s brother, John O’Connor, labeled the figure “hideous” and “inappropriate” during an interview on RTÉ’s Liveline radio show.

He remarked that it resembled a blend of “a mannequin and something from the Thunderbirds.”

Fans expressed their outrage as well.

“The new Sinéad O’Connor wax figure appears as if they just stumbled upon an old mannequin and decided it would suffice. It’s absolutely shocking,” one individual remarked on X.

“As a devoted fan of Sinéad O’Connor and her values, I’m incredibly disappointed! This does not resemble our Sinead at all,” expressed another.
