Chelsea is on the brink of signing a goalkeeper and a defender.
New head coach Enzo Maresca, who took the helm after leading Leicester City to the Championship title last season, has already brought in six new players for the club.
The priciest of these newcomers is £30 million signing Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall, acquired from Leicester. Chelsea’s owner, Todd Boehly, has embarked on an extensive spending spree, surpassing £1 billion since he assumed control of the team in June 2022.
Additionally, the Blues have recruited Tosin Adarabioyo on a free transfer from Fulham and brought in promising talents Marc Guiu, Caleb Wiley, Renato Veiga, and Omari Kellyman this summer.
Currently, the Blues are on a pre-season tour in the USA and are preparing to welcome two more signings.

Villarreal goalkeeper Filip Jorgensen is poised to join for £20.7 million, with the 22-year-old shot-stopper traveling to the United States to complete the transfer.
Boca Juniors defender Aaron Anselmino is not expected to meet the squad in the States but is set to undergo a medical in London, according to reports.
Anselmino will cost approximately £15.6 million but is likely to return to Boca on loan.
Enzo Maresca is actively enhancing his squad as he prepares for the upcoming season and aims to secure his first victory of pre-season.
Chelsea drew 2-2 with Wrexham, followed by a 4-1 loss to Celtic, where the team conceded avoidable goals against former Leicester City manager Brendan Rodgers’ side.
Chelsea’s only goal in the match came from a late penalty converted by £52 million attacker Christopher Nkunku.
These early challenges are anticipated as Maresca works to establish a new playing style.
The team is scheduled to compete against Club America on Wednesday, with Jorgensen’s signing expected to be finalized by then.
