Scottie Scheffler and his spouse Meredith had a wonderful family outing in Paris on Sunday, just ahead of his pursuit for Olympic gold.

The world’s top golfer is set to compete for medals alongside elite players, including fellow Americans Collin Morikawa, Xander Schauffele, and Wyndham Clark, next week.

Following a tumultuous few months, marked by his arrest near the PGA Championship and his triumph at the Masters, Scheffler has been taking time to relax after The Open in Scotland last week.

Meredith and Scheffler brought their young son Bennett along for the Paris trip, capturing family photos as they explored various attractions in the city.

Their first destination was the famed Louvre museum, followed by a picturesque moment on one of the Seine’s bridges.

Bennett was welcomed into the world on May 8 – just a few days prior to Scheffler’s arrest during the PGA Championship in Kentucky.

Scheffler had committed to leaving the Masters if Meredith went into labor; thankfully he secured the win at Augusta National just before their first child was born.

He has had a remarkable year on the golf course, clinching victories at the Travelers, RBC Heritage, Arnold Palmer Invitational, The Sentry, Memorial Tournament, Players Championship, and Masters.

Although Olympic gold is one of the few titles yet to be achieved by Scheffler, he is optimistic about his chances in France.

His main competitor may be Schauffele, who has claimed two major titles this season and enters the Paris tournament as the defending Olympic champion.
