Real Madrid’s head coach Carlo Ancelotti praised 18-year-old forward Endrick, stating that he “possesses something truly exceptional” following his first appearance in a 1-0 friendly loss to AC Milan.

Endrick, who transferred from Palmeiras in Brazil this summer after an agreement was reached in 2022, was substituted during halftime as Ancelotti implemented several changes at Soldier Field in Chicago.

Ancelotti remarked: “He’s incredibly quick, poses a threat in confined areas, has the capability to pivot swiftly in small spaces, and is agile enough to evade defenders. These attributes make him an outstanding talent. It’s uncommon to encounter a player with such skills.”

Samuel Chukwueze from Nigeria netted the only goal in the 56th minute, capping off a well-executed team play.

Paulo Fonseca has achieved victories in his first two matches since taking the helm as Milan manager this summer.

Real Madrid, missing Kylian Mbappe, Vinicius Jr, Jude Bellingham, and Rodrygo during the pre-season tour, will face arch-rivals Barcelona in New Jersey on Sunday.

Milan will compete against Barcelona in Baltimore on Wednesday.
