Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have issued a strong message to parents regarding the prevention of suicide and online bullying, emphasizing the significance of ensuring children’s online safety.
“Our children are young… they are 3 and 5. They are extraordinary,” Markle stated during an exclusive interview set to air on “CBS Sunday Morning.”

“All we desire as parents is their protection,” Markle added.
Markle is the mother of two with Prince Harry – Prince Archie, 5, and Princess Lilibet, 3.
“We recognize the issues occurring in the online realm and understand that much work remains, and we are pleased to contribute to positive change,” Markle said.

In a preview clip, “CBS Sunday Morning” host Jane Pauley remarked, “You hope that when your children seek help, someone is available to assist.”
“If you know how to provide that assistance,” Prince Harry added.
“We’ve reached a point where nearly every parent needs to be a first responder,” Harry expressed. “Even the most skilled first responders may struggle to recognize the signs of potential suicide. That’s the alarming reality.”

The couple, alongside their Archewell Foundation, has been vocal advocates for children’s online safety.

This marks the first joint interview for Harry and Markle since the revealing conversation with Oprah Winfrey, where they shed light on royal family issues.
The special aired in 2021, one year after their decision to step back from their royal duties, and it garnered an audience of nearly 50 million viewers worldwide.
The couple’s two-hour interview addressed various topics, including concerns regarding race, which further complicated their relationship with the royal family.

In that interview, Markle spoke candidly about her feelings of isolation and distress while being a part of the royal family, admitting to having suicidal thoughts. She also claimed that Harry informed her of “concern and discussions” from a royal family member regarding the tone of their baby Archie’s skin.
In response to these explosive allegations, Buckingham Palace issued a statement to Fox News Digital.

“The whole family feels sorrowful to understand the full magnitude of the difficulties Harry and Meghan have faced in the last few years,” the Palace stated at that time. “The concerns raised, especially regarding race, are troubling. While there may be differing recollections, these matters are taken extremely seriously and will be addressed privately by the family.”
“Harry, Meghan, and Archie will always be cherished family members,” concluded the statement.

In the wake of the explosive Oprah interview, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex continued to articulate their experiences within the royal family.
