Harrison Ford has a playful attitude about himself.
In his first foray into the Marvel universe, the actor portrays the Red Hulk, utilizing motion-capture technology for the character’s metamorphosis. When approached by Variety regarding the challenges of filming those segments, the usually candid “Indiana Jones” star remarked, “What did it take? It took not caring. It took being an idiot for money, which I’ve done before.”
Nevertheless, he quickly made it clear that he wasn’t disparaging the film.
“I don’t intend to put it down,” the 82-year-old actor clarified. “I’m merely stating that you have to engage in certain activities that typically your mother wouldn’t approve of — or your acting coach, if you had one. But it’s enjoyable, and I had a blast. I’m thrilled with the response we’ve received from the trailer.”

When journalist Angelique Jackson remarked that Ford had given the Comic-Con audience a “glimpse of that Red Hulk within him,” he humorously replied, “Let’s keep him inside.”
Ford is set to portray Thaddeus “Thunderbolt” Ross, who becomes the Red Hulk in the upcoming “Captain America: Brave New World” film, which is slated for release next year.

The Han Solo actor ended the interview with a witty remark after the reporter mentioned how one of the actors expressed that Ford’s involvement in the film was “scratching that itch in his nerdy little heart.” She inquired, “What part of your inner nerd are you fulfilling by joining the [Marvel Comic Universe]?”
“Well, if I’m going to scratch, it’s usually my butt,” Ford replied, moving on to engage with another reporter.
