Greg Biffle, hailing from Vancouver, Washington, is set to make a return to his hometown as he drives the No. 23 Chevrolet for Sigma Performance Services during the ARCA West race on August 10 at Tri-City Raceway, East Richland, Wash.

In his earlier appearances this season, Sigma Performance Services, led by owner Joe Farré, secured victory at the ARCA West race in Sonoma with current Xfinity driver Sam Mayer and achieved a third-place finish in the ARCA Menards Series event in June at Iowa.

Biffle, who is recognized as the first driver to clinch championships in both the NASCAR Xfinity and Truck series and boasts 19 Cup series wins, also holds the title of former track champion in the late model division at Tri-City Raceway.

Earlier this year, he was nominated for the NASCAR Hall of Fame’s Modern Era ballot for the first time.

“I’m excited to be back at the track in an ARCA West car nearly 30 years after I won the track championship,” stated Biffle, 54. “It’s a privilege to race for a well-respected team in the sport, and I truly appreciate the opportunity to return to this historic Northwest racetrack.”

Greg’s NASCAR journey began in the former NASCAR Winston West Series in the early 1990s. He made two appearances in the currently known ARCA West, with his latest result being a fourth-place finish at Altamont Motorsports Park in 1996.

“We are incredibly proud to support Greg’s return to his racing roots in the Pacific Northwest,” said Farré. “We need more individuals like Greg, alongside the local racing community and sponsors, to promote the sustainment of these tracks, teams, and series.

“Greg’s dedication to this race, the racing community, and supporting teams like ours exemplifies the importance of collaboration to keep racing thriving in the Pacific Northwest and throughout this great nation.”

In his most recent NASCAR outing, Biffle participated in five Cup series races during the 2022 season with NY Racing, owned by John Cohen, achieving a best finish of 20th at Atlanta.
