British sailor Emma Wilson has achieved a bronze medal in the women’s windsurfing event held in Marseille.
The gold was awarded to Marta Maggetti from Italy, while the silver medal went to Sharon Kantor of Israel.
Wilson had a remarkable performance in the preliminaries, finishing first in eight of her 14 races, which earned her a direct entry into the three-person final, delayed by a day due to low winds.
At just 25 years old, the Nottingham native has now secured two Olympic medals, including a bronze from the Tokyo Games three years prior.
More updates to come.

Emma Wilson, 25, clinched the second medal of her Olympic journey on Saturday.

Wilson had to settle for another bronze as Saturday’s final was claimed by Marta Maggetti of Italy.
