An activist from Georgia captivated the audience after being introduced by former President Trump at his Atlanta rally on Saturday.
As Trump concluded his speech at the Georgia State University Convocation Center, he invited the young woman, Michaelah Montgomery, to join him on stage. He mentioned that he had met her earlier this year at a restaurant.
Trump shared that Montgomery, a student at Clark Atlanta University, recognized him in public and praised his support for historically Black colleges and universities.
“She looks at me and says, ‘It’s President Trump. You saved my college.’ And I replied, ‘How do you know that?’ ….This one is incredibly sharp and intelligent,” Trump recounted.

“She hugged me and gave me a kiss,” he continued. “I joked that I might never return to the first lady.”
“You were supposed to keep that a secret,” Montgomery chuckled.
The former president praised Montgomery, calling her “incredible” and saying she has a “bright future,” before inviting her to take the podium.
“I want to build on what others have said,” the conservative activist stated. “We must spread our message beyond our circles. The fight means nothing if we only discuss it among ourselves.”
Montgomery went on to share that she co-founded an organization named Conserve the Culture, aimed at “mobilizing HBCU students to convey this [conservative] message.”

“Nobody needs this message more than my community, so are you really with us?” Montgomery asked the enthusiastic crowd. “Are you truly on our side?”
“Now, I’ll hand it back to Big T,” she concluded.
The rally occurred just days after the White House condemned Trump’s comments regarding Vice President Kamala Harris’ racial identity made at the recent National Association of Black Journalists (NABJ) convention.
“She has always identified with her Indian roots and promoted that heritage,” Trump stated. “I had no idea she was Black until a few years ago when she suddenly claimed to identify as Black. So, I’m confused, is she Indian or is she Black?”

On Wednesday, HUD Secretary Dr. Ben Carson praised Trump for “facing challenging questions” at the conference.
“I commend my friend @realdonaldtrump for attending a challenging environment at @NABJ today and tackling difficult inquiries,” Carson posted on X.
