Slotkin has also been deliberate in her viewpoint regarding Israel and the conflict with the terrorist group Hamas in Gaza. Nevertheless, Michigan boasts a large Arab population that has been advocating for the Biden administration to halt military assistance to Israel. Harper, her Democratic rival, has been more outspoken in condemning both Israel and the Biden administration’s backing of the U.S. ally.
