One of Marcus Rashford’s vehicles was involved in a collision with a suspected drink-driver, with Manchester United teammate Tyrell Malacia sent to the hospital for checks.
According to reports from The Sun, Rashford’s high-end Range Rover Sport collided with a black Mercedes on July 16 in Wilmslow, Cheshire.
Rashford, 26, was observing from the back seat while his Range Rover was operated by a friend, and Dutch defender Malacia occupied the passenger seat.
Both the unnamed friend and Malacia were taken to the hospital as a precaution but were later cleared by medical staff after suffering no injuries.
It appears Rashford was not directly affected by the incident.

A 55-year-old woman, believed to have been driving the Mercedes involved in the incident, was arrested on the suspicion of drink-driving.
Cheshire Police confirmed that officers responded to the collision between a blue Range Rover Sport and a black Mercedes C220 AMG model earlier this month.
They stated that a woman was detained at the site and that two men were subsequently transported to the hospital.
This accident occurred just two days prior to Rashford receiving a six-month driving ban.
The Manchester United forward was caught driving at 104mph on the M60 in his £560k Rolls Royce, citing he was speeding due to fears of being chased.
Rashford also claimed that he is followed ‘constantly’.
This incident on December 12 happened less than two months after Rashford crashed another luxurious Rolls-Royce.
Though his vehicle sustained considerable damage, Rashford and the other driver involved emerged unscathed as police arrived.

Rashford flew out to Los Angeles with the United squad for their pre-season tour
Following the incident, Rashford traveled to Los Angeles with the rest of the United squad for their U.S. pre-season tour, while Malacia remained in the UK.
The 24-year-old, who shares a close friendship with Rashford and has often vacationed with him, was not part of the squad as he continues to recover from an injury.
Meanwhile, United manager Erik ten Hag expressed complete confidence that Rashford will regain his scoring form after a challenging second season.
Ten Hag mentioned that new assistant coach Ruud van Nistelrooy is expected to assist the forward in his development. ‘The reason Ruud is here is clear; he can aid the strikers but is capable of more,’ Ten Hag elaborated.
He added: ‘Rashford has scored many goals at a relatively young age; he can do it again. I am certain—100 percent convinced he will return to form like he did a few years ago.’
