Australian athlete Michelle Jenneke stumbled and fell during the women’s 100-meter hurdles at the Paris Olympics on Wednesday.
It seemed that Jenneke faced difficulty with the third hurdle at Stade de France, which ultimately led her to finish last in her heat.
Despite the fall, she completed the race, keeping her hopes of qualifying for the semifinals intact. Jenneke may have an opportunity for redemption if she competes in a repechage, which allows competitors a second chance.
