On Friday night, former President Donald Trump revealed to a gathering that he “just removed the last bandage” from his ear after surviving an assassination attempt nearly two weeks ago.
The event, known as the “Believer’s Summit,” was organized by Turning Point Action in West Palm Beach, aiming to engage faith-oriented voters. Dr. Ben Carson, former Secretary of Housing and Urban Development, spoke before Trump.
“I want to express my gratitude to every believer in this room for your prayers and unwavering support. It truly means a lot to me,” Trump stated.

“Something was definitely working—we know that. Thank you all so much. I stand here tonight, thanks to the strength of prayer and the grace of Almighty God,” he added.
The former President noted, “As you can see, I’m on the mend. In fact, I just took off the final bandage from my ear.”

The audience erupted in applause as Trump pointed to his injured ear, further explaining, “I just got it off. I took it off for this group. I’m not sure why I did it, but that’s it. I think that’s all.”
His remarks also involved criticism of Vice President Kamala Harris, labeling her “a bum.”
“Just three weeks ago, she was a bum, a failing vice president, leading a failing administration with millions crossing the border. And she called herself the border czar, and now they’re saying she never was,” Trump remarked.

He continued, “If radical liberal Kamala Harris gets in, there are many ways to pronounce her name—I’ve been told you can say Kamala or Kamala. I said, don’t worry about it,”
“It doesn’t matter how I say it. Honestly, I couldn’t care less if I mispronounce it,” Trump insisted.
Earlier on Friday, Dr. Ronny Jackson, the former White House physician, issued a letter detailing Donald Trump’s health following the July 13 assassination attempt in Butler, Pennsylvania.

“I want to assure the American people and the global community that President Trump is recovering remarkably well,” Jackson emphasized.
“He is healing rapidly from the gunshot wound to his right ear. I will remain available to assist President Trump and his personal physician as needed and will provide updates with President Trump’s consent,” Jackson concluded.
The FBI confirmed on Friday to Fox News Digital that “the object that struck former President Trump in the ear was a bullet, whether intact or fragmented from the deceased individual’s rifle.”
