Olivia Dunne is gearing up for her fifth season as a member of the LSU Tigers.
The national championship-winning gymnast recently announced her decision to return to college for one final year and shared a video showcasing her practice of new balance beam skills.
On Thursday, the 21-year-old took to her Instagram Story, posting a clip from a gym practice session.
In the video, she performs a flip and successfully lands it, captioning the clip, ‘Summer fun!’
Dunne played a crucial role in securing LSU’s gymnastics program its inaugural NCAA Championship last April.

Three months later, she expressed that she wasn’t ready to step away from gymnastics just yet.
‘These past four years have changed my life. There’s just something special about wearing a purple and gold leotard,’ she shared on social media.
‘No matter what opportunities arise outside of the sport, LSU holds a unique place in my heart. That’s why I’m excited to announce that I’m not finished yet,’ she continued.
‘Here’s to year five, baby.’
Before committing to university this Fall, Dunne will travel to Paris to cheer on the ‘GOAT’ Simone Biles at the 2024 Paris Olympics.
The talented gymnast recently praised the seven-time Olympic medalist.
‘Simone is and will always be a GOAT. I see this as her comeback. The events of 2020 were a surprise, and now she’s on a mission to reclaim her title,’ Dunne stated while attending the ESPY Awards.

Of course, Dunne referred to the Tokyo Olympics, where Biles withdrew from the all-around event due to the ‘twisties.’
This condition is a mental block for gymnasts where they have difficulty gauging their position in the air during routines.
Now at 27, Biles is the eldest member of the team and is set to compete in a variety of events over the next two weeks.
