A leading Democratic super PAC has initiated an extensive advertising campaign across multiple battleground states to elevate Vice President Kamala Harris’ presidential run as the Democratic Party’s convention in Chicago approaches next month.

Future Forward, the largest Democratic-aligned super PAC, declared earlier this week that it will invest $50 million to support Harris in six states over the next three weeks leading up to the Chicago convention, according to The Washington Post.

Moreover, the publication reported that American Bridge 21st Century, the second-largest independent Democratic supporter, will begin airing ads on Friday in the pivotal swing state of Michigan.

Additionally, Women Vote, associated with the Emily’s List network, revealed on Thursday its plans to allocate $2 million targeting younger women in four critical battleground states.

“We are prepared to hit the ground running to ensure that voters recognize Kamala Harris as a president dedicated to fighting for them,” Future Forward President Chauncey McLean told The Washington Post on Thursday.

“Her focus is on enhancing the lives of all Americans, while Donald Trump is singularly focused on himself.”

David Axelrod, a former senior adviser to President Obama, described this move as a “significant development.”

“Pro-Harris SuperPAC initiates a major media buy in battleground states, with an initial advertisement emphasizing her experiences as a DA, attorney general, and VP,” Axelrod shared on X.

“This is essential air cover, especially as Trump-backed forces work to portray her negatively.”

One of the ads will depict Harris as “the district attorney who safeguarded children from sexual offenders” and “the attorney general who stood firm against major banks to defend homeowners and succeeded.”

The Washington Post also reported that MAGA Inc. is planning to spend an additional $32 million targeting Harris before Labor Day, bringing their total expenditure during this timeframe to $72 million.

Fox News Digital reached out to the Trump campaign for comments but did not receive an immediate reply.

A recent survey conducted after Biden’s withdrawal from the race indicates that Trump and Harris are currently tied in the crucial swing state of Michigan, despite the former president having a lead of nearly double digits earlier.

National polls have shown conflicting results, with some indicating a tie while others suggest a slight advantage for either candidate.

The New York Times/Siena College published a new survey this week revealing that Trump edges out Harris by just one percentage point among likely voters, 48% to 47%. Among registered voters, Trump’s lead is two percentage points.
